Whenever we visit this beach, we always make it a point to take a leisurely walk along the pier. It's a wonderful experience, and the prices for passes vary depending on what you're looking for. The gift shop is charming, filled with a wide variety of toys and fishing items. There are benches scattered all over, making it a fun adventure! It only costs $2 per person to walk on the pier, and the pass is valid for the entire day. Additionally, there's a small tube aquarium in the common area that provides interesting details about the fish. Parking is easy, and it's just a short walk from there!
Jeanette's pier is not your average pier! When you visit OBX, I highly recommend experiencing Jeanette's pier. With its aquarium, gift shop, and breathtaking views all day long, it offers a truly unique experience. Simply sitting and enjoying the scenery and the people is incredibly relaxing. It's a must-see destination that should definitely be on your to-do list!
The beach spot isn't too bad. The bathhouse is quite nice and definitely better than most places on the OBX. Moreover, the area beneath the pier offers plenty of shade, which is perfect if you require it. However, it does tend to get quite crowded by midday, so it's advisable to arrive early if you want to secure a good spot.
I've been to this beach a couple of times. In my opinion, it's a fantastic pier for strolling and fishing. On my first visit, we were lucky enough to witness three whales swimming near the end of the pier, which is quite uncommon. Today, we observed a few fishermen catching fish at the pier's edge. The pier is well-maintained and offers splendid views, perfect for capturing family pictures. There's a $2 fee per person to access the pier. I enjoyed watching the sunset, observing people swimming on the beach, and simply sitting on the benches. I highly recommend visiting this place for anyone on vacation in the area.
It was a lovely day to pay a visit! This was our inaugural time at this beach, and I was pleasantly taken aback by the overall experience. The fee to stroll along the pier for the entire day was $2 per person. They provide a pleasant beach access area along with outdoor showers and restrooms. Additionally, there are covered sections under the pier where one can sit comfortably. Ample benches were available for seating. Moreover, there is an indoor gift shop area and even a sizable fish tank area with additional restrooms. It's truly a delightful place to visit and definitely worth checking out!
