The beach was absolutely stunning! The timing was perfect and it made for a wonderful holiday experience. If only we lived closer, I would visit this beach every chance I got. It's great to hear that the beaches in Fort Myers and Sanibel are gradually reopening.
The beach at this park is really nice, with calm waters that are a bit choppy. The water is a beautiful shade of blue, and there are plenty of people enjoying themselves here. Canoeing is a popular activity to do right on the beach.
This is a stunning location to spend time with your loved ones and bask in the beauty of the beach. The water is crystal clear, the sand is pristine white, and there are plenty of shells to collect. The sunsets here are breathtaking too. I strongly suggest checking out this spot!
In November 2021, I had the pleasure of exploring South Lido beach while traveling from Sarasota to Ana Maria Island. The beach boasts a serene and relaxed atmosphere, with stunning vistas of the Gulf of Mexico's straightway ocean passage. I was pleasantly surprised to find the restrooms to be easily accessible and impeccably maintained. I wholeheartedly recommend this park for a visit, but don't forget to bring your camera and an empty drive to capture plenty of photos!
Discover a picturesque and idyllic beach on the Florida west coast, replete with a plethora of opportunities to engage in recreational activities such as shell hunting, football tossing, leisurely strolls, sunbathing on the cool sand, and enjoying quality time with your little ones. The stunning sunset views will leave you breathless and the Publix Sub is a must-try delicacy. Although parking can be a tad challenging, it's a relief that it's free of cost and there are ample public restrooms and shaded areas for BBQs. The beachfront is a short walk away, but the sand is compact and easy to tread on. The water is crystal clear and less crowded than other beaches in the vicinity, making it a worthwhile trip to the southern end of the key. Regrettably, dogs are not allowed on this beach.
