Crooked Island Beach is located on the Gulf of Mexico (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 66th place out of 266 beaches in the Florida region 125.1 km away from its center, the city of Tallahassee. It is one of the beaches of Davis Beach settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Crooked Island Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Crooked Island Beach (Florida) region (Bay County sub-region) is located outside the Davis Beach settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. This beach, though touted as open to the public, is actually still under the jurisdiction of Tyndall AFB. To gain access, interested parties must apply for a permit via the base's website and pass a background check, for a fee of $11. Card pickup is available on Tuesdays. While the scenery is undoubtedly breathtaking, it's important to do your research beforehand, as military ID checks have been known to occur frequently in the past few months.

This beach is certainly a sight to behold, but I'm not sure I want to share its greatness with the masses. The facilities could use a bit of an upgrade - I mean, who wants to deal with a subpar bathroom situation and a dumpster that's not exactly the most pleasant sight? However, if you can overlook those minor inconveniences, you'll be rewarded with a serene atmosphere that's not overrun with crowds. And let's not forget about the abundance of shells - a true treasure trove for beachcombers.

This beach is an absolute gem! It's wonderfully serene, with hardly any crowds to contend with. And the best part? It's just a short stroll from the parking area. You'll find it to the north of Mexico Beach, accessible via a dirt road that's easy to overlook. Keep an eye out for the green street sign that reads Crooked Island Rd to ensure you don't miss it.

The sand is simply breathtaking and the waves are perfect for children to play in.
