Breathtaking setting, stopped by in the evening to catch a glimpse of the oil platforms and an extra treat of a departing cruise liner. I will certainly return for another visit.
Cromarty beach is a serene location that offers a view of the Cromarty Firth overlooking the expansive Port of Nigg. Despite the industrial setting, it remains a calm and peaceful area, with a handful of dog walkers and individuals relaxing on the many benches nearby. We spent around thirty minutes simply taking in the scenery.
Fortunate to experience a fortnight of excellent weather, with the exception of one gloomy day. The charming location is uniquely complemented by the presence of oil rigs and wind turbines on the nearby shore. The hotel's cafe and takeaway options both offered high-quality food and service. A great spot to relax and recharge.
Decent beach, my child had a great time there. The weather wasn't ideal, but we still had a pleasant stroll. I found the rock formations quite fascinating.
Not the most scenic beach area because of the large structures near the shore, but it is conveniently located next to the village and is a lovely spot to enjoy a refreshing ice cream on a warm day. Additionally, there is a memorial with clearances nearby.
