The area is absolutely beautiful. The local people are fantastic, and there are convenient local shops and restrooms along the seafront.
We only stopped by for about thirty minutes since we were just passing through, but let me tell you, that beach was absolutely breathtaking! It had such a picturesque and charming vibe. I really enjoyed spotting all the seagulls, and it was a first for me to see so many Ruddy Turnstones. I absolutely loved it.
The beach is absolutely stunning, with a lot of sand. The only drawback is the limited parking available. There is a small grass car park where you can park for £1 per hour or £5 for the entire day, and there is also limited parking available on the seafront. On a positive note, there is a fantastic cafe and fish and chip shop located on the seafront. Additionally, you can enjoy long walks along the beach in either direction for miles.
The beach is absolutely stunning and can be easily reached. It's perfect for swimming and has a sandy shoreline, although there are a few small pebbles that wash in with the tide. The best part is that there is no litter around, making it even more enjoyable. Towards the eastern end, it becomes peaceful and deserted. I was lucky enough to witness a young seal coming up onto the beach to take a rest before returning to the sea.
This beach is truly a hidden gem with its stunning sand and enjoyable walking path. It offers convenient amenities such as restrooms, water facilities, a cafe, and a convenient store. Although there is a slight seafood odor emanating from the water and some baby jellyfish that can be mistaken for pebbles, overall, it is a fantastic spot to visit and even camp overnight.
