This beach is an ideal spot for families with kids to have a delightful and secure time. There are several restaurants to choose from, and the convenience of card payment and parking facilities add to the pleasant experience. Additionally, the presence of toilets near the beach is a plus. The beach's uniqueness lies in its location, with Thorpeness beach on one side and Thorpeness Meare on the other side, where beautiful swans can be spotted and boating is available. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
This tranquil beach offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Although it is primarily a pebble beach, during low tide, a small stretch of sand is exposed, providing a comfortable spot to lounge. While it may not be the ideal spot for dogs due to the pebbles, it still offers a peaceful setting for a leisurely stroll. It's important to note that high tide may not be the best time to visit, as the sandy area is only visible during very low tides. The beach and its surrounding area are well-maintained and there is a free car park located south of Thorpeness. While the sea may not be crystal clear due to the sand, the overall atmosphere of this beach is undeniably serene.
This stunning beach is an absolute gem! The walk from Thorpeness to Sizewell is a delight, with a charming footpath that's perfect for strolling. During the warmer months, the beach is simply breathtaking, with an array of vibrant colors and a diverse range of flowers and plants that adorn the shingles. It's truly a sight to behold and I can't get enough of it!
This serene beach offers breathtaking vistas of Aldbrough and the distant radio masts at Orford. Although the winds can be strong, the beach exudes a tranquil ambiance that is perfect for relaxation. A charming cafe is conveniently located nearby, and you can also enjoy the picturesque boating lake behind it.
This tranquil haven is a perfect retreat during scorching temperatures, conveniently located near Clacton-on-Sea. If you seek solace on a powdery beach, I highly recommend a visit. The refreshing water is ideal for both swimming and frolicking.
