This beach is a hidden gem that I had unknowingly passed by for four years while doing the circular #iwalkcornwall route from Mount Edgcumbe. It features unique rock formations formed by gas bubbles from volcanic activity. It's a great spot for swimming and offers shaded areas for those who, like me, prefer not to be exposed to the sun all day.
I often bring my dogs and grandchildren to this beach. It's a beautiful place for a leisurely stroll, and we enjoy exploring the rock pools and having picnics.
The beach is absolutely beautiful and extremely safe. It's perfect for families with young children and is easily accessible. It's also a fantastic spot for collecting seashells. However, if you're looking for a beach to surf, this isn't the right one for you.
According to my son, this is the best beach he has ever visited. I must admit, it was absolutely magnificent!
The beach is located in an old fishing village with narrow streets that were not designed for motor vehicles.
