This beach is absolutely fantastic, in fact, it's quite spacious.
The beach is incredibly long and covered in soft sand, providing ample room to relax for an entire day. I was pleasantly taken aback by the stunning and expansive views of the area, which surpassed my expectations from the pictures. There are public restrooms available, and a lengthy boardwalk with a few spots to sit and enjoy a refreshing beverage or a meal. I will definitely return to this beach in the future!
This beach is an excellent choice for families with children. It offers a vast area where kids can build sand castles and dogs can freely roam. The beach is also very safe, providing a great view. There are plenty of dining options and adventure parks nearby. Additionally, there is ample parking available with a pay and display system. In case you forgot to bring shovels and buckets for the kids, you can find them in the donation closet. You are also welcome to contribute to the closet if you'd like.
This beach is really lovely and it's quite easy to get to. Just make sure to pay attention to any warnings, especially when the tide changes because it can flow quite fast due to being at an estuary. On the day we visited, the weather was cool but sunny, so it wasn't crowded. The beach was clean and had high-quality sand, perfect for the children to play on.
It's a great spot to visit and take your dogs for a walk. The beach has a sandy shoreline, and we strolled along it to reach Sandy Beach, covering a round trip of 2 miles. Just keep in mind that dogs are not allowed on the beach from May 1st to September 30th. Nonetheless, it's a delightful walk, although you should be cautious about the tide if you decide to walk to Sandy Beach and return. In case you find yourself trapped, there's an alternative path over the cliffs.
