Governor's beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 12th place out of 45 beaches in the Turks and Caicos Islands region The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Governor's beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. The beach is stunning with crystal clear water. I spotted plenty of fish near the shore while snorkeling. There is some litter scattered around, but it's not a major issue. It's just a short 5-minute walk from the cruise port and entrance is free.
