Kecilik Koyu is located on the Black Sea and it is in the 67th place out of 133 beaches in the Istanbul region 22.4 km away from its center, the city of Istanbul. It is one of the beaches of Anadolu Kavagi settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

Attention boat owners, I have a message for you. The shoreline is littered with debris washed up from the ocean. If you don gloves, gather 1-2 sizable trash bags, transport them by boat, and dispose of them in the nearest bin, you will play a vital role in enhancing the beauty of the beach. I initially intended to tackle this task from the shore, but the journey to the higher ground is lengthy, prickly, and incredibly steep. Regrettably, the thought of navigating the narrow, thorny, steep path while carrying hefty garbage bags seems utterly unfeasible. The most practical method for removing the trash is by boat from the water. Your assistance in maintaining environmental cleanliness is greatly appreciated.
