We had difficulty swimming due to the strong waves, but the sand truly lives up to its name with its amazingly fine texture, and the view is absolutely stunning.
The beach has lovely sandy shores, although it would be even more appealing if there were some trees around.
Hello, we have been choosing this place for two years now. It offers a free camping area, with facilities such as toilets, showers, and a prayer room. Thanks to the Aydıncık Municipality, we are able to enjoy all these amenities without any charge. The beach and camping area are quite nice and are mostly preferred by families who camp with caravans or tents, and there are very few people from outside the area. It is a great place for families with children, as the beach is completely sandy. If you manage to find a spot under a tree, you'll be in the perfect spot :) For my friends coming from the northern part of the country, I highly recommend visiting Ankara, Konya, and Aksaray. But, if you are passing through MUT, make sure to stop by Silifke first and then head to Aydıncık. Avoid turning towards Gulnar after Mut, as I unfortunately fell victim to navigation errors myself. The mountainous roads can be quite confusing. Have a wonderful vacation!
When I visited the beach, it happened to be during the feast of sacrifice, resulting in a large crowd. Normally, the sea is incredibly beautiful and not too deep, making it easy to navigate. The water is shallow, the weather is generally hot, and the ocean floor consists of soft sand. Additionally, there are designated areas where you can set up tents, as well as access to showers and restrooms. While the grocery store is a bit of a walk away, there is a shortcut from the seaside to the base of the mountain, offering a stunning view that makes the journey enjoyable rather than tiring.
Firstly, we would like to express our gratitude to Aydıncık Municipality for providing such a stunning location. We are truly thankful for this beautiful place. It is an amazing spot where you can both camp and swim simultaneously. It is especially great for families. The water is shallow, with a depth of only 20-25 meters, making it safe for children to enjoy. There are convenient facilities such as changing cabins, toilets, and showers. Regrettably, there is no electricity available. The beach is a mere 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk from the city center. Normally, there is a fee of 10 lira for vehicles and 30 lira for tents, but currently, it is free as there are no restrictions. Restrooms and showers are accessible. Although the cleanliness of the toilets leaves something to be desired, it is understandable since no one is currently maintaining them. I highly recommend visiting this beach.
