This beach has stunning black sand that resembles the aftermath of a volcanic eruption, making it one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline you'll ever lay eyes on. As if that weren't enough, the beach also offers breathtaking views of Tahtali. What's more, there's fresh water on tap and even an impromptu shower to rinse off the salt water after a dip in the sea. If you're feeling adventurous, you can pitch a tent and spend the night right there on the beach. But the real highlight has to be the awe-inspiring sunrises that light up the sky each morning.
The charming little beach situated along the Likia path is an absolute delight. With its pristine waters and sandy shores, it's a perfect spot to soak up the sun and take a refreshing dip. What's more, the beach boasts a natural source of drinking water, which adds to its allure. Overall, it's a fantastic destination for anyone seeking a tranquil and rejuvenating escape.
As we strolled along the Tekirova-Cirali stretch of the Lycian Way, we were mesmerized by the stunning bay that lay before us. This hidden gem was a haven of tranquility, with crystal-clear waters and pristine sands that were virtually untouched. Although it was challenging to reach, the effort was well worth it, as we were rewarded with a secluded and unspoiled paradise. The lush trees that lined the beach provided ample shade from the scorching sun, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. With no amenities nearby, the bay was completely deserted, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of this remarkable location.
Transportation to the beach usually requires a 4x4 pickup truck as it is an all-terrain vehicle. The water is present, but the market is idle and the WC facilities are insufficient. The sea is clean but rocky, with sandy areas ahead, while the beach itself is stony. Shade can be found under various trees on a slope, but there is a risk of scorpions. Phone service is unreliable and the environment unfortunately has garbage. During my visit on July 29, 2021, I only saw one tent in the far corner and one staff member who was Russian. In my opinion, it may be better to stay at Cleopatra and take a commercial boat to the beach for the day.
Antalya Kumluca region boasts of only a few remarkable spots, and this beach is definitely one of them. It's an ideal spot for camping as it provides access to potable water for drinking and other necessities.
