It's a peaceful and serene beach, located far from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist spots. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. However, there are no on-site shops, but you can easily reach the local Migros supermarket with a twenty-minute walk. The views are absolutely stunning.
The rooms are clean and decent, but be aware that it requires a lot of strength and patience (especially in the heat) to climb three-quarters of a long staircase, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach your apartment from the hotel's private beach. Additionally, the bar/lunch staff is very inattentive and inexperienced, and the food is average.
We began our holiday in an unfinished building with just a few pieces of furniture. Our balcony was infested with ants, there were exposed cable pipes, and there were no lamps by the bed. When we tried to hang our swimsuits and towels, the clothes hanger became one with the floor. We reported all of these issues to the management, but they showed no concern and took no action. The incident that truly highlighted the fact that we were staying in an unfinished construction zone was when the bathroom window almost fell on my head. There was no mechanism to keep it partially open, so at any moment it could come crashing down! With a sudden gust of wind, the window swung open and hit my shoulder. I managed to pull my head back in time, but I couldn't avoid injuring my shoulder. I don't need to mention the bruises and wound. In the following days, we discovered that the garden of the property was filled with construction debris. Additionally, there was only one ladder to access the rocky and choppy sea. The second ladder was rusty and out of order, as a customer had injured themselves on it. They didn't bother repairing it until the day we left. Furthermore, there was a constant red flag hanging at the beach and pool area. (*A red flag indicates that swimming is strictly prohibited due to various dangers. You can swim at your own risk, but the responsibility falls on you.) So if you choose to stay at Vega Aparts and swim in the sea or pool under the red flag, it is dangerous, and any consequences are your own responsibility. They also lacked a lifeguard. I won't even mention the ants, spiders, and other bugs that plagued us. However, the treatment we received was the most unsettling. We felt unwelcome as guests. When the sole focus is on making more money, security, hygiene, friendliness, and customer satisfaction are all disregarded. This is a poorly managed business.
I wouldn't recommend wasting your time at this beach. The room was extremely dirty, and the bedsheets had noticeable stains. Instead of proper bedsheets and comforters, we were given a thin and unclean cloth to cover ourselves with. The floor had plaster debris, and when we requested cleaning staff, the reception informed us that they had already gone home for the night (which was understandable since it was around 11:30pm). Unfortunately, they didn't offer us an alternative room. In the morning, we approached the reception again, explaining that our room was filthy and we wouldn't be staying another night. The lady at the reception claimed that there were no more available rooms. However, when we proceeded to book another hotel for the following night, suddenly they rushed to inform us that a new room had become available. The entire place seemed to be poorly managed, and the staff appeared disinterested. The manager did refund us for the night we didn't stay, but they have yet to refund us for the first night.
The rooms are unclean, with dirty curtains and towels. The air conditioner is located in the lounge instead of the bedroom. Additionally, they assigned us the apartment that was farthest away, requiring us to climb numerous stairs to reach our room. The facilities definitely need improvement. The only positive aspect is the convenient access to the beach.
