Kargicak Koyu is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 102th place out of 517 beaches in the Mugla region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

Kargicak Koyu coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Parking is located directly on the beach.

This secluded and intimate bay offers a breathtaking view of the full moon. The water is infused with salt, which is known to have healing properties. During weekends, the area can be bustling with activity, but by 6pm, the crowds disperse, leaving only a few stragglers behind. Campers set up their tents, some staying for only a night while others extend their stay for weeks. Visitors bring their own food and cook it on site. The locals are environmentally conscious, ensuring that the area is kept clean and free of litter. One downside is the lack of restroom facilities, which may pose a challenge for some visitors. The nearest village is a rocky four-kilometer drive away. Recently, a signboard indicating “private property” was spotted, raising concerns that the bay may be developed into a beach or club, potentially harming the natural beauty of the area. Hopefully, this will not come to pass, as nature should be preserved and protected for future generations.

The water at this beach is absolutely stunning with its crystal clear quality. However, it's important to bring water shoes as both the entry to the water and beach are rocky - albeit smooth and flat. The water also gets deep quite quickly. To avoid the direct sun, it's recommended to bring an umbrella or head up to the tree area. Additionally, bringing extra towels or blankets will make sitting on the beach more comfortable. Be sure to bring strong string to secure the umbrella to the rocks as the wind can pick up unexpectedly. While there are no facilities available, parking is conveniently located near the beach. Overall, this beach is a great option for those looking to escape the crowded hotel beach resorts.
