The strip of sandy beach next to the ocean may be narrow, but it is pristine and serene this morning, with few crowds in sight. It is ideal for families seeking peace and quiet. While the shower facilities are makeshift, there is a problem with the toilets. Camping spots are available, but be prepared for pesky flies in the morning and evening. Nevertheless, the breathtaking scenery, fresh air, and crystal-clear water make up for any inconveniences. The ocean is notably saltier than other bodies of water, and the gradual slope of the shore makes it safe for children and non-swimmers to venture farther out. A market, grocery store, greengrocer, bread and bagel shop are conveniently located nearby. While there is limited space for barbecuing and walking, a volleyball net and short evening tours are available. The sand can be a bit rough due to transportation, and the environment can be littered if visitors do not properly dispose of their waste. If you are mindful of your impact, there are lovely accommodations to choose from, although they are a bit of a distance from the beach.
Embrace the raw and untouched beauty of this beach, where nature reigns supreme and the sands remain unspoiled by human intervention. This is not a place for those seeking manicured perfection, but rather a haven for those who appreciate the unbridled power and majesty of the natural world. Come here to experience a true connection with the earth and the sea, and to revel in the wildness that makes this beach so unique.
The beach is a serene and tranquil spot, where a leisurely stroll in the night is the only activity available. A grocery store and a tea garden are situated near the beach, at the entrance of Gulcavus. If you're a fan of peace and solitude, then this is the ideal destination for you. However, be mindful of the flies that emerge between 8 and 10 pm. The sea at Saroz is absolutely flawless and sure to captivate your heart. 🌊❤️
Perfect for a sunrise experience! Saroz beach boasts of breathtaking natural beauty that is yet to be fully explored. Whether it's summer or winter, the beach never fails to impress. However, the only downside is that summer season ends early, and the water temperature tends to be low due to the geographical structure. In August, bad weather and rain are a 50/50 chance. If you're fortunate enough, you'll get a great room with a stunning view. I've been visiting Saroz since 2002, and it's still my top pick over Bodrum and Fethiye Ölüdeniz. Saroz beach offers a perfect balance of serenity and modern life, which is truly priceless.
The tranquil and serene ocean waters are absolutely pristine and unpolluted, making it the ultimate destination for a refreshing and rejuvenating escape. The beach offers a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, providing the perfect setting for clearing your mind and recharging your batteries.
