Dongtan Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 28th place out of 58 beaches in the Chon Buri region 53.3 km away from its center, the city of Chon Buri. It is one of the beaches of rayy canth phels settlement, just 4.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Dongtan Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

Nice beach for leisurely strolls and relaxation. However, it is advisable to bring along a bicycle or scooter for easier transportation, as the walking distance may catch you off guard. Stretching for approximately 2 kilometers, the area boasts a collection of sophisticated hotels and condominiums, as well as an exhilarating water park. In the evenings, beachgoers can participate in aerobics or volleyball games.
