North Cha-am Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 14th place out of 20 beaches in the Phetchaburi region 32.7 km away from its center, the city of Phetchaburi. It is one of the beaches of Ban Bang Ket settlement, just 3.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

On January 30th of this year, the beach was pristine and tranquil with a sparse crowd, making it an ideal spot to unwind. However, if it happens to be Southern Cha-am beach, it may be more populated with tourists. Personally, I prefer a quieter atmosphere.
