Khao Tao Beach II is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 31th place out of 39 beaches in the Prachuap Khiri Khan region 75.9 km away from its center, the city of Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is one of the beaches of Ban Khao Khuang settlement, just 3.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Khao Tao Beach II coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .

The sunset view is absolutely stunning. The beach boasts a wide shoreline. The water is exceptionally clear.

The local beach is peaceful and quite clean. There are hardly any dogs or vendors around. Although there are some rocks near the entrances, they are not overly challenging to navigate. Toilets can be found in the temple, but it's important to dress modestly while on the temple grounds. It's a great beach for walking and the water is of good quality for swimming. However, it's advisable to be cautious or carry vinegar due to the presence of jellyfish at night.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, especially during my visit in May/June when the water was warm. It wasn't overly crowded, which was great. If you head down to Anchor Bar, you might come across some kitesurfers, although it all depends on the wind.
