Mae Ramphueng Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 38th place out of 39 beaches in the Prachuap Khiri Khan region 71.6 km away from its center, the city of Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is one of the beaches of Ban Ao Yang settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

The beach stretches several kilometers long and boasts an incredible viewpoint right in front of the Mae Nam Phueng Sub-district Administrative Organization office. As the sun begins to set, the beach becomes even more enchanting. Though the accommodations and restaurants may be limited, they offer a comfortable stay. This peaceful and serene location is perfect for those who seek a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located approximately 13 - 14 km from Petchkasem Road, this beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze.
