Ban Tai Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 34th place out of 95 beaches in the Surat Thani region 86.2 km away from its center, the city of Surat Thani. It is one of the beaches of Baan Tai settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Ban Tai Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. .

The beach is pleasant, albeit somewhat narrow, with calm and shallow waters that make it ideal for children. The palm trees provide ample shade, creating a comfortable environment for sunbathing and relaxation. However, we noticed the emergence of green algae after some time, so we decided to exit the water as a precaution.

The sea is shallow, making it a perfect spot for children to play and swim.
