Located at the end of Laem Pratap, this beach boasts stunning golden sand.
The beach is absolutely beautiful with its golden sand, but it could benefit from a bit of tidying up.
Our plan was to spot some dolphins, but we ended up arriving at the beach at 9:30 instead of the intended 7-8 in the morning. We waited a while and eventually a fishing boat arrived. The cost was 1000Bhat and they provided us with life vests for the journey. The ride was a bit bumpy and we got splashed a little, but the views were breathtaking. Unfortunately, it was windy that day, so we didn't see many dolphins. However, the boat ride was still a beautiful experience and the fisherman even took us to see the Pancake rocks, which are only found in one other place in the world - New Zealand. It was definitely worth it. After the boat ride, we went to a German restaurant which was also lovely. In total, the experience took nearly 2 hours.
The restaurant Zum Grünen Baum serves excellent German cuisine, with their homemade bread being a standout feature. While they do not offer accommodations, it is a great spot to unwind and enjoy a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant has an open kitchen during lunch hours, but it is closed after 3pm.
Sandy beach is a great place to visit. You can also take a dolphin watching boat to Koh Nui and pay homage to Luang Pu Thuat. There is fresh water to test, which is said to be the footprint of Luang Pu Thuat. However, when the tide rises, the water will be submerged under the sea.
