Ruangsri Resort Khanom is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 4th place out of 20 beaches in the Nakhon Si Thammarat region 95.2 km away from its center, the city of Nakhon Si Thammarat. It is one of the beaches of Ban Tha Chan settlement, just 3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

My acquaintance had made a reservation at this beach location, but a friend from Khanom advised me against it, citing numerous negative reviews on the Facebook group. However, my acquaintance had already paid the deposit, so we decided to proceed with the booking. Upon arrival, we were informed by the owner that he had been sleep deprived and had implemented a rule to prevent loud noise after a certain time. This left us feeling confused, but we respected the rule and managed to enjoy our stay nonetheless. If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, it may be best to consider alternative options.

The lodgings were cozy and inviting, the ambiance was delightful, and the barbecue equipment was reasonably priced - all in all, a very satisfying experience. However, the lack of attentive customer service from the proprietor and staff left a sour taste in my mouth. Their rude and dismissive mannerisms made it seem as though we were asking for a handout rather than paying customers seeking assistance. As a result, I would not be inclined to patronize this establishment again.
