Pulau Panjang Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 4th place out of 9 beaches in the Narathiwat region 31.7 km away from its center, the city of Narathiwat. It is one of the beaches of Ban Hua Khlong settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Pulau Panjang Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The beach is easily accessible by moped but difficult for larger bikes. The government has not yet developed the area for tourists, so there are no attractive landmarks aside from the natural beauty. The sea waves were calm during my visit, making it a peaceful and quiet beach with no other visitors at 10:30am. There were only three food and drink stalls open, and I was the only foreigner there. It's a great place to relax and try local cuisine.

This beach is a truly authentic spot with goat herders along the shore. The area is well-maintained and the people are friendly.

The beach is okay, with a few food stalls, but not much else to do. The narrow bridge to access the island is intriguing. It seems like more of a nighttime spot for locals, although it's hard to say for sure. There weren't many people around when I visited.
