Phrathong Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 44th place out of 97 beaches in the Phang-nga region 79.7 km away from its center, the city of Phang-nga. It is one of the beaches of Ban Tung Rak settlement, just 11.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
