Hat Sai Kaeo is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 51th place out of 70 beaches in the Phuket region 33.8 km away from its center, the city of Phuket. It is one of the beaches of Ban Yid settlement, just 3.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
