Sunrise Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 14th place out of 45 beaches in the Satun region 85.5 km away from its center, the city of Satun. It is one of the beaches of Ao Molae settlement, just 42.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach on this island has the potential to be a picturesque paradise, but unfortunately, it is marred by the presence of litter and people who detract from the natural beauty. The scattered shards of beer bottles and the unsightly Zodiac bar are particularly disappointing. However, there is a silver lining in the form of a budget-friendly restaurant located near Ananya Lipe that serves delicious food. Despite the island's shortcomings, it is still worth a visit, although it falls short of being the idyllic haven that it could be. As avid travelers who have explored 80% of Thailand's islands, we can attest to its unrealized potential.
