Chao Mai Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 29th place out of 53 beaches in the Trang region 36.4 km away from its center, the city of Trang. It is one of the beaches of Baan Chao Mai settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Chao Mai Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

The beach bungalows are simple yet cozy, with effective air conditioning. Priced at 600 baht, they are a great deal considering their proximity to the beach. The elderly man who manages the bungalows is welcoming and accommodating. The area is tranquil, except for the occasional noise of fishing boats at night. Guests can conveniently park their motorcycles under shelter at the entrance. The beach is within walking distance, offering stunning views of the impressive limestone cliffs. It's a lovely spot for a short stay. There are a few excellent seafood restaurants nearby, but not much else in terms of amenities.
