Praia de Parnaioca is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 71th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 111.2 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Parnaioca settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Praia de Parnaioca coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.
