It is one of the beaches of Ilhabela settlement, just 6.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

The beach is small and peaceful, with half of it being occupied by chairs from the pricey restaurant. On the right side, there is a lawn with trees, making it an ideal spot for those who prefer shade or dislike sand. However, there are only a few free parking spots available, so it's best to arrive early.

Ilhabela's Praia do Viana is definitely a top pick for us when it comes to beaches. The only downside is the challenge of finding available parking spots. However, the beach itself is stunning, albeit a bit small and not as crowded as some others. Overall, it has everything we desire in a beach.
