Praia do Juliao is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 126th place out of 228 beaches in the São Paulo region 128.8 km away from its center, the city of São Paulo. It is one of the beaches of Cambaquara settlement, just 3.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. I absolutely adore this beach! It's peaceful and boasts one of the best kiosks around, Prainha do Juliao. You simply must try their Coconut Special drink - it's divine! Oh, and remember to bring your snorkel gear along. You'll spot plenty of fish swimming near the rocks, and they might even nibble at your toes if you feed them some bread or crackers.
