I'm a huge fan of this mirador! You can either take a boat taxi or walk from the beach (two destinations). There are also plenty of tours that depart from this beach, but be careful when negotiating prices. Going alone will cost you a lot, so it's best to go in a group. The boat taxi costs 12 reals for the closest destination, or 17 reals for the further one. However, it's only a 20-minute walk to the closest beach. People usually bring food and drinks, so the boat taxi is a great option. I took the boat and then walked to the mirador and then to the little beach using the trails. It was definitely worth it.
The beach wasn't particularly pleasant, with a lot of boats and an abundance of trash on the shore.
This beach is stunning! I rented snorkel gear and ventured out to the rocks, where I saw a plethora of incredible fish and sea turtles. I've never seen so many turtles in one spot - it was truly remarkable! Additionally, there are guards at the entrance to ensure that no glass or speakers are brought in.
We had planned to take a boat trip, but it was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute due to military activity. We'll have to try again another time!
