Maca Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 375th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 9 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Niteroi settlement, just 4.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with green water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

A tranquil oasis! The beach is a sight to behold with its immaculate and pristine surroundings. An ideal spot to bring your loved ones for a day of fun and relaxation. Limited parking is available for a handful of cars, and it's important to note that wheelchair access is not available. Nevertheless, the experience is definitely worth it.
