It is one of the beaches of Freguesia de Santana settlement, just 6.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Biscaia Beach located in Angra dos Reis is an incredibly beautiful and clean beach. The water is crystal clear and the surrounding mountain views are breathtaking. The sea is very calm, making it perfect for kayaking and relaxation. The beach offers several areas to rest and take in the stunning views. However, one downside is the lack of restaurant options on the beach. Despite this, Biscaia Beach is easily accessible and offers incredible walks along the beach and to the most beautiful islands in Angra.
