Platja de Sa Galera is located on the Balearic Sea and it is in the 100th place out of 382 beaches in the Balearic Islands region 132.9 km away from its center, the city of Palma. It is one of the beaches of Sant Antoni de Portmany settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Very nice beach, always really quiet because not easy to reach. You can get there from the right side, where the road is not as bad. There you will find a small parking space and then you need to walk down passing next to a house. Follow the little path hidden by the trees on the left and you will reach the beach from behind the abandoned house. There is no sand and the bottom of the water is covered in rocks that are a bit slimy, so be careful. You can also walk up from the opposite side and reach the end of Punta Galera to enjoy a beautiful view.
