Playa de onda is located on the Sitjar Reservoir and it is in the 14th place out of 86 beaches in the Castello Castellon region 17.7 km away from its center, the city of Castelló de la Plana. It is one of the beaches of Ribesalbes settlement, just 3.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Onda beach is located in a stunning and untouched area, making it a truly beautiful water reservoir. It's worth mentioning that it's not a place where people rush to, and that's actually a good thing. The beach offers plenty of amenities for picnicking, and I highly recommend taking a kayak trip to fully appreciate its magnificence and charm. Additionally, there are two small islands that can only be reached by boat, providing an opportunity to experience a day as if you were Sunday Robinson Crusoe. The only drawback is the water level, which is quite concerning during the summer of 2023.

The beach is really lovely, with plenty of shaded tables for dining. A few of us even parked our cars right by the water. And if you don't have your own kayak, they offer rentals too.
