This spot is perfect for chilling out on a hot day. Its waters are a stunning color and it's cool in summer, making it ideal for a dip. Plus, there's free parking, so you won't have to worry about that. Just be aware of the tide, as it's rising, so it's best to stay a bit further away from the shore. It can get quite busy in summer, but it's worth it. The beach isn't huge, but it's still nice. Sadly, the showers weren't working.
Praia de Francon is one of my go-to spots for a tranquil experience, especially during the off-season. During the summer, it tends to be quite crowded, but that doesn't take away from its beauty. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax.
This place was one of the finest we've ever seen in Galicia. We grabbed a bite to eat at the beach bar without reserving a table, but if you want to make sure you get a seat, it's best to book ahead.
This location is tiny, and when the tide comes in it's even more minuscule. In the summer months, it's nearly impossible to find a spot due to the overwhelming amount of tourists. The most redeeming quality is the crystal clear water and the fact that it's well-protected from the wind. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, June and September are the ideal times to visit - when the crowds are a bit more manageable.
A wonderful beach with beautiful sights. A perfect spot for a relaxing day out.
