Playa Las Lajas is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 201th place out of 277 beaches in the Las Palmas region 162.9 km away from its center, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is one of the beaches of Puerto del Rosario settlement, just 4.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. We went to the beach just to have a look, and found that there was only one cafe, which unfortunately was closed due to the holidays. It was a great spot for a picnic, and the beach had a unique combination of gray sand and pebbles.

This place is the perfect spot for a relaxed day out. It's free from the hustle and bustle of tourists, and only locals frequent the area. When the wind is strong, it's great for surfing, and swimming is also possible with no strong currents. There's a bar and restaurant right on the beachfront, and a lifeguard is always on duty. Plus, the beach is easily accessible and the rocky entry to the water makes it all the more enjoyable.
