That place is stunningly gorgeous, but it's not the best place for a dip. Rocks and seaweed make it a no-go for swimming - so it's more of a place to admire than to splash around in.
Playa Punta Prieta is a beach with a rocky shoreline and a sharp reef. If you're looking to surf, there are plenty of schools that operate during high tide. It is advised to wear neoprene shoes when entering the water, as you'll need to walk over the reef. At low tide, however, the route back to shore can be quite lengthy. also a great place to watch the sun rise, however, you'll need a bit of luck as clouds often obscure the view.
The beach was a real delight! The urban setting made it so unique and unexpected. We were amazed by its beauty and couldn't help but fall in love with it. It was truly spectacular!
Gazing out at Lobos Island, the beach is a sight to behold. It's a great spot for water sports, so be sure to check the tide table before visiting. At low tide, the shore reveals a unique landscape of popcorn formations, making for a pleasant stroll.
Volcanic stone beach, to enter the water slippers are a must. The Isla de Lobos in the background is a sight to behold, but the waters are not suitable for swimming. Surfers may find it a great spot, but for everyone else, it's not the most ideal location.
