This little corner of paradise, located between Las Terrazas Shopping Center and El Mirador, is a true gem. Bocabarranco Beach is one of its greatest attractions, although it may not be the best spot for a swim. In fact, the nautical debris can pose a bit of a problem. But, this beach is really special for its coastal habitat and its halophilic environment.
This beach near Cendro is located within the Jinámar Site of Scientific Interest (C-29), which was the subject of a landscape recovery action that concluded in 2012. It is composed of an alluvial ravine deposit made up of gravel and sand, and has plenty of parking options nearby. It is a windy spot, making it unsuitable for swimming, so visitors must be extra cautious if they choose to take a dip. There is a limited area for dogs, so it is great for people with pets, as well as children, as long as they don't swim. Signage is present, and while I wouldn't recommend it for swimming, it's a nice place to take pets, children, or just to get away from it all.
This place is the perfect spot to kick back and relax in the sun. It's also great for dogs too! So bring your pup and enjoy the warmth and beauty of the beach.
This location is an ideal spot to witness stunning sunrises. The atmosphere is perfect for watching the sun come up in the morning. The view is breathtaking and makes for a perfect start to each day.
This spot in Gran Canaria offers a unique opportunity to play with your pet. But, unfortunately, it's not suitable for swimming - as indicated by the red flag. If you're looking for a place to have fun with your pup, though, you won't find a better spot. Sadly, it's one of the few beaches where you can do this.
