Playa de Martianez is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 109th place out of 242 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 4.9 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of Puerto de la Cruz settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

It is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With plenty of sunbeds and pools, it's an ideal spot to soak up the sun and take a dip in the saltwater. Though it can get quite crowded, it's still worth the €5.50 entry fee. You can also rent umbrellas for a small fee, which is great if you don't find a spot in the shade. There are a few restaurants and kiosks offering snacks and drinks, so you don't need to bring your own food. Toilets are also available free of charge. The only downside is that the water runs out at the end of the day, so you can't flush or wash your hands. We've been here a few times and would definitely come back!

Playa de Martianez is a great spot for swimming in Puerto de la Cruz. It might be chilly, but it's a great way to cool off during a hot day. The entrance fee is 5.50€ per person, and an umbrella for the sunny days is 2.50€. You'll need to pay for the umbrella at the main entrance, not at the beach. The pool is emptied and refilled every 2-3 days with fresh water from the Atlantic Ocean, and you can walk underneath the fountain in the middle of the pool and feel the rain from the Atlantic. Highly recommended!

Dive into the Atlantic-filled artificial lake and feel refreshed by the cool waters. Perfect for a sunny day, the price of admission is more than fair considering you can stay all day and find a spot to relax with ease. You'll feel safe and secure here, making it a must-visit destination.

This beach is an ideal spot to spend some time in the sun. The grounds are expansive, and the pool is quite large. The water may be a bit chilly, but you'll get used to it. Don't forget to bring an umbrella, as there are few places to escape the sun's rays. There are also plenty of activities for young children.
