Playa de Garachico is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 147th place out of 242 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 27.7 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of San Pedro settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a tiny bay with crystal blue water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Gerachico was a major letdown. It's definitely not one of the best pueblos in the North East of Tenerife. We were really disappointed by the lack of appeal.

This spot may be small, but it's full of surprises. The black pebbles and sand are nice, but the waters can be deceiving; they look crystal clear, but the waves can be quite strong. And if you're looking for a swimming experience, you'd better get there early - the sun sets quickly and the water gets icy cold. Don't forget to look out for the little crabs along the shoreline.
