Playa de la Caleta is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 147th place out of 242 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 30 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of San Pedro settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a straight coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

That place is a surfer's paradise! The waves are perfect for catching some serious air and the pebbles make for a unique beach experience. It's best to wear shoes when you visit, but there are wooden platforms available for sunbathing. There is a warning sign about strong currents, but on the day I visited, the flag was red and people were out surfing. It's a great spot for experienced surfers to perfect their skills!

This location is the perfect for those in the know! If you're a local, you'll be in heaven with the great surf. But if you're a tourist, you might want to look elsewhere - this beach is reserved for the locals!
