Playa Agua Amarga is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 16th place out of 105 beaches in the Almeria region 48.4 km away from its center, the city of Almeria. It is one of the beaches of La Joya settlement, just 2.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with blue water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa Agua Amarga coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

Absolutely stunning! So much picturesque scenery with the beach and restaurant, and the added bonus of brown sand. Perfect place to relax on a sunny day, but unfortunately no pets allowed.
