Playa del Coll Baix is located on the Balearic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 195th place out of 382 beaches in the Balearic Islands region 56.3 km away from its center, the city of Palma. It is one of the beaches of Bonaire settlement, just 3.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Playa del Coll Baix coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

To get to the beach, you need to walk along a mountain trail more than 1km long.

A great spot to take it easy. The path can be a bit tricky, so be careful. It's the perfect place to be, with a stunning atmosphere. Don't forget to bring an umbrella and a good pair of shoes. You'll see many boats anchored 75 to 100 meters from the shore, and a lot of oil and fuel.

This place is not worth the 40-minute trek from the parking lot. I wouldn't recommend going if you're Japanese, as the last stretch is treacherous. When you finally make it, you'll find a secluded spot with a majestic mountain backdrop - but it's not worth the hassle.

This spot is a great to visit, but you should be prepared for a bit of a trek. It's a 30 minute walk from the car park, with some parts of the path needing to be climbed. Sturdy shoes are essential, as the stones can be quite sharp or slippery, and the stones on the beach get very hot in the sun. Unfortunately, jellyfish were abundant when we visited, but the water was still very clear and you could spot some fish. The view of the sea from the beach isn't quite as stunning as when you look at it from the forest paths, but it's still a pleasant spot. All in all, if you have the time and energy, it's a great place to spend the day.

A hidden gem, tucked away and hard to find. But the ocean can be dangerous - it drops off quickly and the waves can be strong. It's not suitable for inexperienced swimmers, so take extra care. There's no lifeguard and few people around, but if you take extra caution it can be a great experience.
