Cala Bassa is located on the Balearic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 148th place out of 382 beaches in the Balearic Islands region 138.8 km away from its center, the city of Palma. It is one of the beaches of Sant Agusti des Vedra settlement, just 5.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Cala Bassa coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

That place is the perfect spot for a day-trip. It's family-friendly and offers a great restaurant right on the shore. The water is crystal clear and the blue is simply breathtaking. It's the ideal place to spend a few hours.

Despite the fact that we had reserved the Taittinger Lounge, it was not quite worth its price. With a direct view of the sea and shade from the trees, it was located in a quiet corner to keep you away from the hustle and bustle. The bay was pleasant for swimming, but the menu offered limited variety and the lounge area had its own restaurant with limited seating. The biggest issue was the lack of attentive staff; some were helpful, some not, but the ambience was so nice you didn't mind waiting a bit longer to get your food or drinks. Also, there was always a queue for the bathroom and no separate changing room, which was extremely inconvenient. Do not forget to show your reservation at the parking entrance or you will be directed to a place far from the entrance and may have to pay for parking.

This beach has a great location and a sophisticated look. However, the quality of service didn't quite match the price tag. For €250, we expected the very best in terms of service, but it just wasn't there. If the service matched the price, this place would easily be 5 stars.

We had the pleasure of being seated in the Taittinger Lounge, and while it was a bit secluded from the hustle and bustle, it was certainly well taken care of. The drinks and food were satisfactory, although nothing to write home about.

A wonderful beach to get away from it all. The scenery is stunning, and you can make use of the beach club's day beds, cabanas, and sun beds if you're willing to pay a bit extra. If you're looking to save money, there's plenty of free space to relax on the beach or the bar area. Parking is 5 Euro, but you can exchange your ticket for a bottle of water or a Corona - highly recommended for a day of relaxation.
