Perfect spot to unwind. There's a plethora of wildlife, and if you arrive at 9am, you can have it all to yourself. I saw four comorants and a plethora of native birds. The sea was crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. After 12pm, the beach gets quite busy, but it's still a relaxing atmosphere. If you're driving, there's car access. The water can get a bit cold, but when the temperature is 24 degrees or higher, it's still a great spot to visit in late October.
This beach is a favorite of mine! Get there early to snag a parking spot. The sand is so soft and the water is crystal clear. You can swim out into the deeper waters without worrying about jellyfish. It's the perfect spot for a day of relaxation.
This small beach is not overly busy, so it's easy to move around. You can also take a short stroll to the next beach. It can get quite breezy at times, but it's still a nice spot to spend some time.
The beach on the north of the island may look attractive with its yellow and red sand, but it's not always a peaceful paradise. If you're looking for some solitude, you may want to arrive early in the morning, around 9am. However, even then, you will likely be far from alone. The parking lot is a mere 200m away, but that's still too close for my liking.
This location is nothing special - just some pink sand. It's great if you want to visit two beaches in one day, but the walk to Des Bot isn't that exciting.
