To begin with, I highly recommend making your way to this beach solely for the purpose of strolling towards Cala Pregonda - it is truly a remarkable spot and easily one of my top picks. To get there, simply take a 15-minute walk from Binimel La beach and head towards the right side where you'll be greeted with stunning scenery.
The journey to Binimel.la involves a lengthy and winding road that is quite narrow, so it's important to drive cautiously. As you near the beach, you'll encounter a wide gravel road that can get quite dusty and crowded with parked vehicles during the summer months. Fortunately, there is ample parking available near Binimella beach. It's worth noting that there is also a bar/restaurant in the vicinity, and restroom facilities are available on the beach.
The beach would be a wonderful spot if it weren't for the plastic debris scattered along the shore. It's concerning to think that the fish might consume the plastic, which we then consume. I spent an entire day collecting the plastic pieces. I'm left wondering if the locals truly care about their island. It's doubtful.
This is a fantastic spot for snorkeling with children as it is safe and secure. The shoreline is teeming with fish, providing breathtaking views right from the start. Despite the abundance of cars in the parking area, the beach is not overly crowded.
The snorkeling here is top-notch and the parking is a breeze. The water is pleasantly deep and you can enter from either the beach or the adjacent rocks. We were fortunate enough to spot some massive 40 cm clams and even an octopus. Plenty of other fish species are present as well. On top of that, there's a restaurant on site. The water temperature is also quite warm.
