The locals (permanent residents of Cape St Francis) are extremely rude. During high season (mid-December to mid-January) the beach is crowded and very little space to sit close to the designated swimming area. This is a real damper on a beautiful beach with golden sand and waves to everyone’s liking. The open spaces you see on the photo… people (locals) tell you not to sit down, as it is “on top” of them and tell you to find another spot which is far away from the designated swimming area.

Beautiful beach! Water so cold at the moment crazy, but the waves are great and no rocky which is lovely ! The life guards are really friendly and so alert which is great feel safe swimming. Lovely atmosphere as well plenty of people and kids and animals just all time really great beach !
