Uvongo beach is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 3th place out of 59 beaches in the KwaZulu-Natal region The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Uvongo beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, showers, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities. There are also some surf spots.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Large parking spot is located directly on the beach.

Although this beach may appear alluring with its numerous activities and bustling atmosphere, the potential hazard of contracting Ecoli is a definite deterrent. During my recent visit to this beach with my family, we were not only put off by the unpleasant odor that resembled sewage, but also suffered from sickness in the days following our swim. Even a few locals expressed their dislike for this beach due to similar reasons. I strongly advise against choosing this beach as your destination for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation, unless you wish to spend your days confined to the bathroom.

This beach is an idyllic destination to spend a day, with a charming Italian restaurant and a delightful ice cream shop nearby. You can enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or venture out to the nearby river for some exciting water paddling. However, the only downside is the presence of a car security person who attempts to sell illegal items in the parking lot, which is quite disappointing. Nevertheless, this is a wonderful place to visit and experience the beauty of nature.

This family-friendly beach offers a relaxed and charming atmosphere that is perfect for a day out in the sun. With plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including body board rentals and the presence of lifeguards, safety and fun are guaranteed. The beach is conveniently located within walking distance of everything, making it easy to access and explore the surrounding area. Additionally, there are umbrellas available for hire, providing shade for those who need it. To top it off, the beach boasts a friendly Italian restaurant and ice cream shop on-site, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
