The beach is absolutely stunning with breathtaking sand cliffs, and it's not overly crowded with tourists. Additionally, it's easily accessible which makes it even more appealing.
This beach located between Wilderness and Sedgefield is absolutely breathtaking and remains largely unspoiled.
The beach is stunningly vast and accommodates dogs, with fishermen scattered throughout. The natural surroundings are a treat for the senses: birds, dolphins, and even the occasional whale during peak season. You can also witness paragliders soaring above, and even partake in tandem paragliding along the coastline. However, it's disheartening to see litter on the beach, and trash bins are scarce. The ocean can be rough with strong currents and no lifeguards on duty, so swimming is not advised.
If you find yourself in the Wilderness area or passing by on your way to Knysna or PE, make sure to check out Kleinkrantz Beach. This picturesque spot is tucked away behind a hill or cliff and offers a sense of seclusion. However, it's important to pay attention to the warning messages posted on the board regarding swells and wind before choosing a day to visit. To access the seashore, you'll need to make your way down a sand dune, but be aware that this can be a challenging task. While some prefer to stay in their cars and admire the view, we opted to brave the dunes. Keep in mind that the climb back up will require some physical exertion, so it may be wise to take the stairs instead. Despite the effort required, Kleinkrantz Beach is truly stunning and well worth a visit.
The beach is incredibly serene and a favorite spot for anglers. Additionally, it is easily accessible, making it a convenient destination for all.
